With ten years of experience as a news photographer, my style is deeply rooted in the photojournalistic tradition. I keep my photo shoots simple and use very few props, focusing instead on bringing out the personalities of the people in front of the camera.
I started photographing weddings in 2008, partly because I really enjoy the fun and excitement, and partly because I felt there was a need for high-quality, affordable wedding photography in this part of the Midwest. My background as a news photographer has made me particularly apt at capturing all the candid moments of a wedding and my photos have a distinct contemporary flavor.
